  • I always thought this song sounded suspiciously like Gary Wright's "Your Love is Alive" (also on you tube), although there's no denying the greatness of this performance.

  • Wow!This Guy is off the hook.I love his raw emotiom and talent. He had all the parts from all the greats.Mj Prince James BROWN

  • @akaakachi He's got a unique voice best heard at full volume, so if your neighbors complain just give them a copy of the cd and I'm sure they'll understand...

  • @tinbasherwelder

You can say that again. I blast his cd in my car on my way to work and at home during the weekends.

  • When I first Terence Trent D'Arby the first thing I thought was that he sounds like Lamont Dozier. What do you in Youtubeland think?

  • Some say he is trying to be Michael Jackson or Prince. But there is also a more old school influence here --maybe Jackie Wilson and/or Otis Redding. His moves are similiar to Michael's (which are similiar to James Brown), but the voice and lyricism (the way he attacks the lyric) reminds of Redding. The showmanship reminds of Wilson.

  • I wish I had his energy!

  • Great song, timeless
