  • any pawn can capture en passant. no matter what letter it started on.

  • Happy to answer any questions or comments.

en passant may only happen if on the prevoius turn, the pawn to be captured moved forward 2 spaces and now has an opposing pawn on either side of it. There is no limit to the amount of en passants one could make per game. One is not bound to make en passant just when the opportunity arises if here is another move one wishes to make.

  • Thanks, but please try to hold the camera steadly next time.

  • hey ur using F pawn though i thought it was only the E pawn

  • so therefore en passant could only happen when an oppent junps two spaces from its original position? or can en passant happen as soon as they meet side by side regardless if they took two jumps from the first move.. and how many en passant are you legally bound to in a game... thank you...
