We are working on the film again and going after Ubisoft for the copyrights for the film once more. Let me explain more of this trailer, it was ONLY a test and shot and angle plan as to how it may look. the actual plan is to take the first book and release it first, then make it a trilogy of one film after another. and to pretty much rewrite the book to make the already very good story even better and to best suit a motion picture. scripts will be available in the next 3 to 4 months to thepublic

last time i talked to adrian he didn't even have the movie signed to a studio but had some interest from a few studios and that was just a month ago

@HypnoPants Well the real movie that was just recently revealed to be in the works is going to be about the books, not necessarily the game. Which is good, because they couldn't have made much of a movie about a single guy wandering from place to place solving puzzles in silence.

- well of course, the whole point of Myst was to make the traveller as the player, can't make the main character in the movie look like the person watching it :P

Myst would make for a good movie if done right. But I would make it take place before the first game. Make it about where the books came from. Not to mention why he made Myst and why he never made a return book.
