  • about how ridiculous someone is. It's not about being "controlled" like you're trying to portray. It's about having a respect for the True God, that is so deep, that you wouldn't fathom the thought of disrespecting him by partaking of something that represents an original attachment to a disgusting false god. It's wasn't the cake itself, it was what the cake REPRESENTED. Also, stop giving ur listeners the impression that JWs try to control their members. Its a false and misleading statement.

  • The JW named Robin that refused to accept the birthday cake, did the right thing, no matter how petty it may have appeared. JWs goal is it to render pure worship to God by not defiling it with demonic practices. Birthday celebrations originated with the Pagans who were worshipers of FALSE gods. Even the blowing out of candles represented sending a light signal to the celestial gods in order to ward off evil spirits Try looking up the how birthday celebrations originated before u talk (cont'd)
