10/29/09: On 10/27/09, 中天 had an 8 minute segment, which I cut 1 minute from (just multiply what they say by 8) on the recent Roger Lin (林志昇) and A-bian case. One of the guys from 中天 says that 林志昇 is making all Taiwanese look bad. He has one recent article in the Economist (which is rarely Taiwan-friendly) criticizing A-bian as proof all international media is paying attention to this small case. The main thing is that we're not American, we're not chinese, we're Taiwanese!!

i was born in the US (not something that I could control), and thus grew up in a society that didn't have compulsory military service. Plenty of Americans never join the army, that doesn't make them LESS American.

and who gives a shit if we are green or blue, it only matters if we could all unite as one, as Taiwanese.

Some people holds a Taiwanese passport, it doesn't make them more of a Taiwanese than those we are passionate about Taiwan being a independent and free country.
