that directed PKE is the model 2102T? if it is can you tell me if the car's alarm system does get armed?

It is the 2102T. It is arming the Viper alarm system. This unit acts as another transmitter when installed in conjunction with a Directed system

Question: does the remote for the PKE also allow you to remote start you car? it looks like it only has a Unlock button and nothing else...

It will not remote start my car. I have the Smartstart on my phone to do that , security, gps, and aux functions.

So if u open the car with the 5702v key fob it works as regular I'm assuming. So u really do not need the remote for the alarm system. Right???

This does not change the functionality of the current Directed system. Think of this as adding another remote that will unlock/lock and/or arm/disarm the car.

The 5702 fob does give you tons of fucntionality that this system alone will not give you.

Hey man, what is the second remote you have in your hand in this video? It looks like a flip key remote.

I am trying to find a aftermarket remote with a built in key so i can just carry the pke remote and a remote for an alarm similar to your keys in the video

Some1 tell me, you dont need to get keys out of your poket to open the door but to start your car you need your switchblade key(original)??? So all in all unless you get pushstart button with another rfid tag, you cant i full keyless...? -.-'

Nope you r wrong it suppose to go into sleep mode.Look on page 9 in your Owner's Guide
