Well I see your point, but middles do a lot more than most people realize. On a lot of big kills you see on youtube, the only reason that the hitter got such an open swing is because the middle distracted the blockers and it is very difficult to run an offense without decent middles. Just trying to stick up for the middles, they are always under appreciated.

@gatewaydrugs1 you have obviously never played middle because they are the ones that need to have the best footwork on their blocks. they need to cover the entire front row and cover a lot of ground quickly. i am not denying that they tend to not be as good at passing or ball handling, but to say they are the worst player on the court is pushing it. and no, i am not a middle

@AJ192837 thanks man, we don't get enough credit. 90% of the time power hitters get that big kill is because we ran great and stuck the middle blocker. Plus, we have to block every single hit the offense throws at us. whoever says middle is easy, try playing one rotation in front court. you'll never want to play middle again

the most under appreciated player on volleyball is the libero... they get no credit for good passes and they get blamed on for not covering ROOFED HITTERS... -.-

I once took a ball directly to the face from a serve.. after my coach slapped me twice in time out and my eyes were watering and I couldn't see shit :D
