Here is just a quick note.. In this last few scenes of this film there is quite a lot of action that goes between the woodpile and the trailer.. This presented a bit of a problem because each area wants to be light a bit different from the other... So in intrest of time I spoke with the director and we moved the action a little more central down one main corridor. This meant that I could light the action as best I could all the way down one side and then we could shoot all the way through the action. After we had gotten a decent looking (lighting and performance) We then just punched in on the same side (as best we could) and re-light as needed for the closeups.. We never quite did a proper turn around so I didn't have to do time consuming lighting changes. At the end of the day you end up with maybe a more flat looking piece (lighting and performance) because you are restricting yourself to looking one direction but when speed is necessary you do your best and move on.. I think this sequence will turn out fine.

  • Good insight! Seeing some of the actors in the background, now I'm curious to see this production. When will it be complete?
