The Catholic Church, has four characteristics:

"ONE Christ's body is one, and all who are united to him are one

HOLY set apart, separated from the world, and sin. Sanctified by his blood.

catholic - universal, that which appears everywhere

and Apostolic- for the continuous succession of apostles

I think this song is great, as is most of Mr. Haas's songs. I just find it extremely interesting if it were actually created for the "Catholic Vision of Love" program. Because the song does not at all reflect the hatred that, that specific program did. "We are called to love tenderly", "To serve one another"... That would be the exact opposite of the program. Again, Catholics you have created a song out of a doctrine that is often off the mark.

I am an ELCA from South Carolina. I play the piano and organ. Today (July 8), we sang this as an Offering Anthem. It is #720 in Evangelical Lutheran Worship. Hopefully, we will sing this as a congregation in the future.
