In each our travels, we must sometimes intersect the rugged terrains of doubt and apprehension
That in the passage to growth and understanding, we ought to indeed question the uncertainties
And challenge the ambiguities

And though these irresolutions may seem to deter us from reaching our said destination
And though we may not comprehend the reasons for such obstacles...
It is perhaps these very same "impediments" in the road, which necessitates the temporary delay of our course

But perhaps IN our hindering...we are opportuned with reflection
And introspection

...And the soul is rejuvenated
Refueled with greater knowledge
of...the self

As such...in our weary wandering...
The people, places, and things...which DO make us stop a moment to ponder and rest during our weary wandering..
are but only there...to guide us towards our own truths and happiness

And sometimes...
We must cross the Bridge Over Troubled Water... before we are led to the...
ocean of serenity...

  • Why do you have to read the scores??

I know you can memorize it, Reading makes you delay

  • Thank-you for your recent subscription, phasetr. :) But the reason I read the scores is essentially because I really do not have more than a few hours to learn a song before posting it (even if they are my own arrangments, I write, then read from my own sheets)

Memorizing would require quite a bit more time than that.

  • Wonderful!

You made me happy to play this song

    HeartBtrue.

It's one of my very big favorit songs.

But I agree with some people, it would sounds more excellent if you would not pounding on the piano buttons. More soft sound please.

But all in all I love it!

    Tom xoxo

  • Hi Tom :) Thank-you for taking a moment to listen. --- I believe the "pounding on the piano" may be due to the placing of a very sensitive microphone right at the strings of the piano during many of my videos (making the each note echo more than usual, and the pedaling seeming to reverberate much more so). I will perhaps ask my videographer to look more closely into the sound quality of each song then. Hopefully that will help some. Thank-you again for your thoughts, Tom:)

  • Well done! It is obvious that you put much passion into every song you perform.

Hopefully constructive criticism: I don't know how the original piece sounds, but I think you should consider a different pedaling technique so that the notes do not become so overlapping.

That being said, I still think that you performed well and I look forward to hearing you play more songs.

  • Hi JonathanDavid89,

No offense taken at all. :) I appreciate your time in listening and commenting. Please see my reply to TomBroxExanos regarding the echoing of the pedals (perhaps due to a very sensitive microphone placed right at the strings of the piano inside the casing)

Thank-you again for your recent subscription, JonathanDavid89 :)

  • Beautiful scores. Keep it up:-)

  • Now that I realize what your mission is really all about, I'm reading your messages as time permits.

I don't know how anyone can impart such wisdom without experiencing such trials firsthand. I can only assume that you have been there.....

Just like scuffs & scratches on the bottom of a kayak.....

These scars are: "Rites of Passage"

We have LIVED, Vast Experiences, when our lives drag over those rocky uncharted tributaries. Trials and Tribulations, is what the Bible calls this....
