  • @djkaneck1 Yes I agree, with your outlook....it all starts with WHINERS like Feminist groups who protest Women doing Playboy pictorials who are NOT the ones Complaining. the NAACP should keep thyir traps shut,ALL they do is keep Blacks unemployed in the TV/Movie industry, and the White actors are NOW getting all the Homeless/Criminal roles. Most Black actors these days have NO issue with being employed in these roles,in an industry that's almost IMPOSSIBLE to work steady.

  • @FTWEVERYONE Tell that to the NAACP! It was their doings which got this classic cancelled.

  • @djkaneck1 There is NOTHING "Racist" about this Classic show,in fact the OPPOSITE,it employed AND had storylines with 99% Black Actors/Characters. It put Black actors employed in essentially a Closed Shop industry!

  • Funny as HELL! The same writing/Producing team, later did "Leave it to Beaver"

Sanforsd and son AND the Honeymooners Greatlt "Borrowed" from this Classic comedy show.

  • The funniest show to ever be on TV. I wish they had made another 100 shows. Loved these characters.

  • I'm back home with this! I'm having a ball catching up with shows I haven't seen in decades! Still funny as all get up with such talent! No buffoonery in my book, just good acting and COMEDY!

  • @djkaneck1 You done stole my thunder. I feel the same way as you about the Stooges whom I love dearly.

  • about 1949 my father bought a rca victor tv. I was a sick kid with azzma (cnt spell it)

in oxygen tent. never went to 1rst or 2nd grade. Around here we only got one

channel and this show was my theopy. Yes I like Ralph Kramdon, but this show

took to way out levels i mean filming in real life backdrops. And for thoses talkin

about racist they come from this new world - These are the ones

who think of the new stuff which is stupid. been 60rys & found this. Real people

    real problems.

  • Calhoun was one of the funniest characters in the history of television but is virtually unknown to anyone under 50.
