The Plasma2 was designed as the ultimate triathlon bike, and it posted the fastest bike split at the 2008 Ironman World Championship in Kona.

Using our IMP5 technology, Scott engineers created an incredibly shaped, aerodynamic machine. Utilizing Shelter127™ with the Speed Skeg™ bottom bracket design, the Plasma2 provides 127 degrees of wheel shelter. The TwinTurbo™ aero carbon chainstays and integrated cable routing further reduce wind drag to an amazing 4.952 Newtons, the lowest drag of any wind tunnel tested triathlon bike.

The Plasma2 was also designed with the input of world class triathletes as Normann Stadler is. To address the need for comfort and efficiency over Ironman distances, the Ritchey seatclamp allows the rider to adjust the effective seat angle from 73 to 80 degrees, and the geometry and stack further ensure a confident, aerodynamic ride.
