After decades of royal rule millions of Iranians took to the streets in a popular movement against a regime that was seen as brutal, corrupt and illegitimate. Revolutionary forces, under the leadership of Grand Ayatollah Khomeini, forced the Shah of Iran into exile. His government was overthrown and replaced by a new Islamic order. The Islamic revolution put Iran on a new path - one that brought it to war with its neighbour and ongoing conflict with the West. Anatomy of a Revolution tells this story.

  • I am a Christian and i have alot friends that are muslim friends, i know is nothing to do with religion, usa has a interest in there land, if everybody was to say to the usa come and take everything they will be happy with you, but if you stand up for your rights and die defending your right you are a terrorist, muslim are one of the nicest people i ever met, there is nice people all around the world but, since usa is in charge of the media news and radio, even internetthey say whattheyplease.

  • the evil regime that was overthrown in 1979 was put in power in 1953 by the USA, at which time the USA murdered Iran's democratically-elected president Moussadeq. now the Iranians don't trust the usa, and for very good reasons. Notice how no one mentions the REAL cause of the usa/iran conflict. that's evil, bro. muslim nations r labelled as evil, but what the christian usa murdering iran's president? I'm just sayin'

  • Who the fuck was the Mosasadegh? It was all planned by Shah. You are an Idiots. Still you don't get it. Don't you? Shah set up the UK, and he used Massadegh. If he was doing it himself, then Iran didn't have any leader and Dang. We were finished. Then he start building up, but in 1975 USA and UK they saw that if they don't remove him from the power, they are finished for good. Thats why USA transfare above $8 billion into Khomani Bank account in Paris and helped to romove shah. Now smart up.
