@PVumbe Kanji --> Hanzi (language of the Han) - different spoken language but same writing - a lot of Japanese words are Chinese. Karate came from Kung fu. Zen Buddhism came from Chan Buddhism (Shaolin, etc). Bonsai came from Penjing (or Penjai - pronounced Ponjai). Tea ceremony is Chinese. traditional Japanese dress came from Han Dynasty dress. Where do you think noodles came from?
