An introverted beekeeper longs for love after loss.
This is a 16mm color film directed by Mariah Lichtenstern, written by Keith Calder, and made at the University of Southern California while in the Peter Stark Producing Program. This is the director's cut.
Interesting note: the house shots were filmed in the director's home in Los Angeles on 54th Ave/ Dean (off Crenshaw in Windsor Hills). We actually interacted with the bees in a remote avocado grove in the city of Bellflower and wore those funny bee outfits. Only one person was stung on set, however.
I still get a kick out of seeing my old Windor Hills rental with all my grad school furnishings from my grandma (RIP - Virginia Alice Lichtenstern)...
