My Russians got wet and I went to a wider Grishko which are already almost dead after just a couple of weeks (barely) so back to Russians. The platform on the grishkos was pretty wide too, I like the Russian platform better. Also shows ribbon tying and some breaking in ideas. Robbie age 12. Leaving for ABT NY SI June 25th! YAY!

  • do you have ''diamond shaped'' feet just wondering lol because if you do then our feet are pretty similar

  • @MichelleArtsProd Maybe - you mean like really wide and narrow short heel? that's me ;)

  • hey when you get a brand pair of pointe shoes especially when its your first time or year you shouldn't break them in to much with your hands because they can become dead faster... by the way if you dont break them in with your hands at all ,, and just breaking them in with your feet it makes your feet stronger unless its a hard shank...

  • @TweetiCuti ok just noticed this is my grishko video those actually went dead after about 2 weeks of dancing 2 hrs a day 3 times a week .

  • i knew a girl who didn't tie in a double knot on her pointe shoes and they came off when she was dancing... always tie a double knot...

  • My first pair were Bloch Concerta's and they are the only brand I've been using ever since. I mclove them to bitsss <3

** And yes, I did mean to say mclove :D

  • Those look AHHMAZING on you!!!!

  • I got Grishkos as my first pair. I love them to bits and are my favourite shoes of all time. I haven't had much experience with pointe yet, so I don't know...

  • Wow, those Grishkos are really shiney. I guess thats what happens after you don't see a new pair of pointe shoes after a while!

  • @mydancetv thanks

  • @KiliniLove it is kind of the sole of the shoe the part inside that supports your foot I guess you could say. search youtube for how pointe shoe is made you will see it ;)
