Hey everyone on this episode of Play it Through its Conan for the NES brought to us by Mindscape. Conan is a port of a commodore 64 game by the name of Myth: History in the Making with Conan being added to the game as the main character. The game has some very simplistic graphics for being a relatively late NES title. The gameplay has you going from level to level collecting different weapons in order to defeat certain mythical creatures. The game gets extremely low reviews but I don't think its as bad as those reviews say. Enjoy!!

  • I loved the original C64 game, Myth.

What an incredibly lazy port this is... just taking an existing game and changing pretty much nothing but the main sprite.

Anyway, I really wish you would review the occasional C64 and Amiga game ;)

  • I know you do lol I really want to as well I just have to build up some money to get both systems and then work on getting games. I just spent 300 on a cd - i and two of the zelda games.

  • What the hell does an Egyptian head have to do with Conan? Am I missing something? And that ending is extremely anti-climatic.

  • @laffer35 Yup, the same company also did it with the Last Starfighter, which was originally Uridium on the C64.

  • whatever. I love this game

  • Conan the King of... Egypt?!?!?!

  • What a pathetic looking game lol

  • Worst-Game-Ever.

How the hell were you supposed to guess you had to do all that to finnish it?

  • This game was fuckery all over. I can see why it got bad reviews because it is essentially a poor man's castlevania. If I were Conan himself, I would cut the heads off the people who made this game

Conan: By Crom, this game is is like Stygian dung beneath my boot! You dare ruin my great franchise with this generic filth! Feel my wrath as I slay you where you stand!

  • There must of been a guide for this one back in the day.

  • @Rakiarmas It was mindscape. All they produced was shit.
