Katie Van Horne's abstract and figurative work, as well as her landscapes are created in oils, pastels, watercolors, monoprint, dry point etching and three-dimensional treatment. Van Horne's artwork stems from an understanding of subject matter using direct observation. Hundreds families treasure portraits and landscapes by Katie. Her commissions have also taken throughout the United States including Washington DC, Florida and internationally to paint.
