This is the first half of the Hwa Rang Do® demonstration that took place in October, 2006 at the 7th World Martial Art Expo in Carson, California.

It featured not only Chief Master Lee himself but also some of his students. Some forms displayed include the spear, open-hand sparring demonstration, takedowns, joint-locks, chokes, and techniques using a sash.

Did this Master go by the name of "Eric" Lee and taught at a studio in Mission Viejo, CA?

@1yellafella: Eric Lee is his younger brother. This is the eldest son of the founder Dr. Joo Bang Lee, Grandmaster Taejoon Lee. Currently he presides and teaches at the West Coast headquarters in West LA.

I dunno why, but everytime I watch these Ancient Martial Arts demonstrations, I'm proud to be Korean and the fact that a lot of Korean culture both modern and ancient is becoming more mainstream :)

How many Korean Martial arts are there, and what are they?
