From defending Europe against Islam and the Turkish Empire to fighting with the allies in WW2, the Serbs have always aligned themselves with the right side even if it has been of dire consequence. Part 1 of 2 leads all the way to the beginning of the 20th century.

@myowngenesis - One thing that Serbs & Albanians should agree on is ethnic borders. Both Serbs & Albanians live in lands not known as Serbia or Albania yet their ethnicity is undeniable.

very interesting. I am impressed. It might and it might not be so that the population in Kosovo was predominantly serb prior to Ottoman Expantion, but what about the time prior to Serb expantion into the Area? I mean even you admit, one of the first state entities of the Serbs was Raska, Raska lies north of Kosovo, not IN Kosovo, so the idea of Kosovo being the "cradle of the Serbian nation" doesn't hold water.

@myowngenesis - Yes I agree with this. Raska (predominantly modern Montenegro) can be seen as the "cradle of the Serbian nation" moreso then Kosovo as far as I'm concerned. As for the population of Kosovo prior to Ottoman expansion, well the Decani Charter is the piece of evidence which shows it as having an overwhelming Serbian or slavic populace. And of course it had a zero Muslim populace prior to Ottoman expansion.

We didnt lose Kosovo to Albanians, we lost Kosovo to NATO. I read a book about Kosovo war in 1912, when Serbian Army liberated Kosovo and kicked the Turks out. They say, when Turks left, arnauti(albanians) surrendered, they raised their white flags as a sign of surrender, and when Serbian officers got out of tranches arnauti started shooting. That tells you how cowrdly albanians are. When Turks had the power they took islam, when Romans had it they took cristianity, they have no dignity!!

USA are really good in getting profits from wars around the world. You say USA is the world? To some extend, you are right, people of many nationalities and religions live together in USA. However the most powerful country and thus the world to some extend is ruled by "few very rich ones" - they profit from wars and conflicts around the Globe. why USA supported kosovo? because Usa is so fair? No,because they know how to profit from this (sooner or later)

If Kosovo is Serbian land how can one claim it if they do not control it. If the population is now mostly Albanian you seem to be saying that you want 4% of the population to have say so over the rest of the people. Believe me I don't know who to believe in this mess, but I would not deny Serb independence if Albania had 4% living inside it's borders.

And I agree the US should stay out of these matters and probably would of but for this ethnic cleansing that goes on in that part of the world

As for the Kosovo - well it was well-serbian in 1300s, not anymore in 20th century. Actually I am as "independent" observer do not see any problem, that kosovo declared independence...of course they should have treated serbs accordingly.BTW, in vid it is stated, that all 700k albanians returned to their land, not entirely true - many are in CH...making troubles :)
