  • whats better the powershot 940 or 1400

  • @therandomdude1999 Never used the 1400 so I am not sure.

  • @Jakarai : If you were to compare the Canon Powershot SD940, Panasonic Lumix LX-3 and Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-T90 Digital Camera , w/c one do you prefer? i need you help.. A million thanks ;p

  • @Nerak88ful The Lumix, Iv'e never owned a T90 but it is similar to the WX1 which I owned I thougt the Lumix pulled ahead of that.

  • @Nerak88ful Just decided to to with something else. I just recently got the panasonic Lumix ZS7.

  • Does it still make that buzzing noise and can you hear it function like the hardware in the video

  • I actually don't even have this camera anymore so I am not sure sorry.

  • Thx, I just threw up.

  • GREAT quality!!!! Im looking to buy this camera and was searching the specs online. I read somewhere that the movie clips can only record approximately 10 minutes per clip if recording in hd. Is this true? Also, I read that you can record clips up to 4 gigs in length for movies.....Does this mean that I can record longer in hd depending on my memory card or that 10 minutes is the maximum length for all hd clips no matter what size of sdhc card i have?

    Thanks....

a full zoom in len is a not clear and blurring focus

  • @Fremglerk I love this camera although my dad bought it to take pictures it still has outstanding video when put on a high quality disk to put on the computer i got it crystal clear

  • @jakarai oh how bout the 940 or the 780

  • @jakarai Why did you get rid of the SD940, if you don't mind my asking?

  • Thanks for the vid. The haphazardness highlights how good the raw video actually is.

From what I've seen, this camera makes better vids outdoors and the mike's sensitive. Perhaps there's a way to use a windscreen.

Pity the 940's video allows for digital zoom only. Your test shows clearly that using the zoom's not a good idea if you want to maintain consistent levels of higher resolution. When you fix on the white car, it looks as if you're zooming in on a grainy photograph.
