The Cast of Wicked in London, well Oliver and the new Elphaba, I forgot her name, performing As long as your mine.
Personally I'm not totally convinced that she is amazing, but being 1st Cast after Idina and Kerry is so hard.
Oliver is the tallest Fiyero ever, but he plays the part with so much heart.

  • I've seen six different Elphaba's live and Alexia Khadime is the only one I haven't actually enjoyed at all. I saw her as Eponine recently and I didn't understand why she had turned Eponine's solo into a soul song. I wish I'd seen her in the Lion King because she probably had the right kind of 'soulful' voice for that musical, but Elphaba is not for her at all. The best Elphaba I've seen is no doubtly Rachel Tucker bearing in mind I've seen Idina Menzel as well. Rachel is just spectacular!

  • Amazing

  • This is a really bad recording,I think it's Alexia Khadime.

  • Oli tompsett in those trousers. good god.

  • @JBLoveSong Yeah I know and i was saying that they tried the diamonds that were described in the book and they just didn't look right on the stage, and I think thats because the Glinda wigs are all blonde so if you had darker skin the wig wouldn't look right and Glinda is one of the more stereotypical musical theatre roles anyway

Not revoltingly ugly?! lol yeah just a tiny bit rude ;D

  • @anon0987654 I was talking about the book..... We were having a discussion about his outfit being a bit clashy and weird.... So I never said that he should have looked like that in the musical..... BUT I looked at casting requirements for Glinda and you DO have to be Pale skinned and not revoltingly ugly haha

    Rude casting agents :P

  • @JBLoveSong The diamond tattoo design didn't look good on stage and they don't generally have a specific colour you have to be to play a part in musicals

  • I wish they would have followed the book more, but thats alright, because the musical is still amazing in its own sense. if you separate the two its just one great book and one great musical <3

  • Rly? Ppl . Thay dont follow the book completly

  • @derek469321 I think he's supposed to be dark skinned, longish haired and have diamonds on his chest... mmm
