What models exactly? The F-Series is a lower end LTD usually, whereas a Jackson DKMG is a higher quality instrument. Hell, i'd even take a DX10D over some LTDs. No idea what models you're looking at.

Good playing dude!
RIP CHUCK SHULDINER
quick question which guitar would you reccommend? the ltd f250 or that jackson behind you. Im looking for a new guitar and ironically you have the two ones im after

the x2n will sound bad ass in wat ever you put it in. the wiring doesn't really have an effect on the sound unless its a shitty job. the type of wood, size of the neck joint, frets, and strings have a HUGE affect on the sound though. but as long as you do a good job wiring it in it will sound great
does all the timing in this song make sense? my friend said it doesnt and i just want some outside opinions

@keert13 Yea it does. The time is in 4/4 or in fours. Until it goes to the riff with the solo it changes to 3/4 or in threes. And after that it comes back to 4/4 or in fours. also it has codas which are simply quick riffs that lead onto the next like at (1:40) It didn't make sense to your friend because they are probably expecting a typical song to be in 4 fours all the time. That's what's cool about metal because it can break boundaries.

Just on question. What tuning is DROP D STANDARD? Is it Drop D or Standard D?
Lether52 2 years ago
What I meant to say is that I'm using DADGBE low to high which I like to refer to as Dropped D on standard. However Death/Chuck uses DGCFAD (D Standard) low to high. I simply converted which is even harder to play! but some may argue that.

I've always thought that Standard only defines the intervals between strings. (EADGBE or DGCFAD etc.) And dropped means that the 6th string is one full tone down compared to standard. So your tuning is either Dropped or Standard, never both at the same time, regardless of what is the key of the 6th string.
Pointless nitpicking on terminology, however. You do play well, though :D

Hehe yea Technically you are right. you just thought me something I didn't know. Hell, it's not a big deal but it's always good to learn the terminology. Thx.
