And could it possibly be that the brazen serpent was almost like a monument or keepsake? I'm remebering the time when moses battled against the egyptian priests with their staff/ serpents. And the people held it in high esteem because it was a symbol of their freedom?

It almost reminds me of the concept of Dice. Black and White polished stones, thrown to define an outcome in which to parties may disagree. Throw the dice and now we have an unbiased answer, and God is the orchestrator of the dice, thus resulting in a divine (divinating) revalation. Of course if the dice isn't loaded.lol.

I think this is all a misunderstanding. Breast plates? Urim and Thummim? I think it must be "Uma thurman's breasts". If you can get close enough to the nipples and look deeply into them, you can see the future. You'r gonna get slapped or laid!!!

what exactly is the ephod ? i would love to learn this magic

@bluefly28 The ephod was a garment worn by priests, and also described as being worn by Saul and David. It is described as being worn with a breastplate which contained the Urim and Thummim, as well as twelve precious stones symbolizing the twelve tribes of Israel. Biblical texts indicate that it was used for oracular purposes.
Here is an entry on JewishEncyclopedia regarding the ephod:
