mini cooper union jack

painting a mini - Had a few comments on why we used spray cans, this car was for a charity rally from the UK to Gambia in Africa, so it wasn't really meant to be a long lasting finish, but thanks for all the comments, If you want more info on the rally and building the car http://african-italianjob2006.blogspot.com/index.html and if you every find yourself in the Gambia, and you see a union jack mini, tell it's new owner I said hi!
you will have to wait till 2009 for our next creation, it will be going london to mongolia, it will be mini based, and it will be more than just a paint job!

oh and the whole paint job cost £37 but that included a set of fluffy dice.... (classy)

May sound like a random Question but is that the same Mini that was parked up outside princess garage in Headingley a year or so back? it looks alot like the guy i spoke to there a few times about my mini.

yep, thats the one. was being sprayed in princess garage :) now out to pasture in sunny Gambia with its new owner (or crashed into a tree the way they drive there)

My brother and I are in Costa Rica now we are driving a Suzuki Jimney small car like the midget you were driving. Told my bro all about you guys in Africa and like the time that it was not Keith Time. We should try to do like a PPG up this way and dive a car from the US all the way to the country of Panama. have the fella that orginized the Africa GIG do the same here.
