I read in the book "ask and it is given" that 15 minutes a day is good enough for meditation, just focusing on your breath for that period of time will make your life better, in other words setting aside time for breathing deeply and keeping your connection with your inner body daily. That also allows you to be more present, focusing on this moment as it is.

@scoutaboutster Now I got it! Thanks, scoutaboutster! can you type the address without dot com and other accessories?

On Diaphragmatic Breathing you have to breath out from mouth or nose?

Dr.Steinman knows his breathing.

The attention is placed on the diaphragm, all the way around the body at the level of the bottom of the rib cage, with a rib flaring movement upon inhale, the belly may expand as a RESULT of this, yes, however you can just do belly breath only with minimal sensation of diaphragm movement, it is a huge difference one can immediately feel. There one or 2 websites out there that explain this in more detail and with animations, although if I type in their address I get an error warning

@scoutaboutster REALLY? What is the difference? !
From wiki: "Diaphragmatic breathing, abdominal breathing, belly breathing or deep breathing is the act of breathing done by expanding one's belly and thereby allowing the diaphragm to move down creating more room for the lungs to expand, rather than only through chest wall expansion/ movement of the rib cage"

This is belly breathing, it is not however diaphragmatic breathing, a common mistake
that is unfortunately being taught over and over again, by people who are in fact very caring and think they are doing diaphragmatic breathing!
Well this is not instructive really - there are better videos on the web. Also, notice during his talk he is using significant 'chest' breathing - his chest is rising significantly during inhalation. Useful video but certainly not the most informative.

@flubertin Actually, I did my best, and I think it is a good start for someone who habitually does not breath with their diaphragm.
