  • one thing i don't get is why Ghstwn is watching this if it so bad

Maybe his love life is not so good or its to short

or is he so lonely that he needs to watch movies and badmouth them

no he is just another little boy hiding in his room afraid to lie his own life

and i am watching a bunch of these because i am buying my wife a new coffee

machine for Christmas and want to buy the best i can

as my love-life is great and has been for the 35 years we have been married

  • Well one thing,... is why someone would chose a vacuum coffee making process as their first ever video. And actually posting it as special. Is somebody having too much alone time? I don't hear a wife, girlfriend or even friends all excited about witnessing this first time ever video. He actually said: "Coolest thing I ever saw in a while!" Now,.... What does that tell you about this guys social life? ;D

  • cool

  • Thanks for the video. Have you ever made a 1/2 pot of coffee with the Bodum Santos? I'm thinking about getting one, but we wouldn't always want a full pot.

  • @1ecuadoriana You're welcome and you are right. It makes a big difference in the flavor of the coffee.

  • @ANGRYEYEBROWS Hi, thanks for the tip! I should update: A few people suggested I take a look at ebay (I had never even considered that, Internet Nubie that I am! LOL!) & I was able to order a glass filter rod for a couple of bucks. I will say this: The first pot of coffee I made was absolutely INCREDIBLE! By the 2nd pot I was posting my Mr Coffee maker on FreeCycle! I'll NEVER go back to a drip maker again! I let mine perk for about a minute & half before removing from heat. YUM!

  • @1ecuadoriana You may have some luck with sweetmarias website I am guessing yours being pyrex it uses the glass rod? They carry those and othe vac pot supplies as well.

  • take a look at mine when the heat is too strong

  • HELP!!! I just inherited one of these, but it did not come with the filter part. How/where can I find one so that I can try it? All my google searches seem to head nowhere or into the bake ware category of Pyrex. Perhaps Pyrex doesn't make these any more? if that is the case is there another company that I can use their filter part?

I totally appreciate any tip that can be passed on to me.

    Thanks!!!!
