Look... it's Viagra for airplanes!

@airplanecrazy1989, @flightkid9, @momosich
this slide is a Type 1 slide which means thats only a Inflatable slide, is not as a Raft as @momosich, the others doors can be used as rafts.
You can look for more details about the specification in the TSO-C69c

@woolnoj its really not expensive, the slides are filled up with normal air, and it takes half a day to repack the slide by 2 or 3 operators
-
Wait to see the new Upper deck slide, made by Air Cruisiers Company, thats really awesome.
It has all ready been certified by boing
-
that would be scary fun to slide down

@TheCablewatcher Be quiet.

@ the cable watcher I have never had a problem on qantas they are 100% Aussie which is why I fly with them. Also the main thing on the manilla flight is that NO ONE was hurt. You hear about flights that have problems then crash land and people die/are injured. That is rare on QANTAS

WHY QANTAS AIRWAYS ALWAYS HAVE EMERGENCY CASES ALL THE TIME? LAST TIME QANTAS HAD EMEMERGENCY LANDING IN MANILA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT ... I THINK THE THEY SHOULD BAN QANTAS AIRWAYS TO FLY BECAUSE THE AIRLINE IS NO LONGER FIT TO FLY ITS SCARY TO FLY QANTAS!

@airplanecrazy1989 i have worked on the 747 for 7 years now, so i hope u find this helpful. the upper deck doors and doors 3 (over the wing) don't get used during a water landing. The main deck slides at doors 1,2,4 and 5 are all fitted with slide rafts. During a land evacuation all 12 doors are used, but as you can see from the angle of the slide if it was used the passengers would end up in the water, thus creating a problem in freezing waters. if you have anymore questions, email me :)

Autobots! Roll out!
I had no idea the upper deck doors open upwards instead of outwards
