Archie wouldn't be the biggest Jeremy Lin fan.

Archie, a great American. He tried to warn us that the commies, freaks and homos would take over America. He was right!

You are welcome!

That's nice of you to say; thanks again.

Always nice to find a new You Tube friend!

Thank you; you too.

I can see what you are saying. Very pleased to have met you!

Well, yes, the character displayed redeeming characteristics sometimes, and by contrast, sometimes the character of Mike was shown to be wrong. My point was that the character of Archie wasn't developed for the audience to agree with, but to laugh at, for all his ignorant, narrow minded nonsense. I can't believe that some people on here support and agree with that stuff. And Mike was right to point out his bigotry in this scene as well.

As much as they are both characters that the audiance loves to hate, I think that it is important that we acknowledge the redeeming qualities on both sides. You can tell that they both had their share of decency. You could even tell that, deep down, they both respected each other!

Less than an hour ago, I posted a message about Meathead's willingness to give up time that he really needed to study to take a job pumping gas. This was in an effort to pay Archie money that was not even his to begin with. That seems pretty lovable to me!
I don't know which one I hate more, the profoundly ignorant and conservative Archie, or the raving liberal who acts as if someone shot his mother every time he hears something politically incorrect.

@ejdf870 Archie is lovable, meathead is not.
