Watch David Gurteen talk about a topic that's very close to his heart - knowledge cafés. Mr. Gurteen explains that the goal of a knowledge café is simple, to bring people together to have a conversation to better understand the topic, to better understand their own view on the subject, and the views of other people - the objective is not to make a decision or create an action plan. In Mr. Gurteen's experience, once there's no longer a need to make a decision, there's no winning or losing in a knowledge café, people speak their minds and don't feel the need to fight for their corner.
