UNKLE "An Introduction" (Episode 1)

As a band, UNKLE have changed dramatically since they formed in 1994. For one thing, the conspirators themselves are different. Pablo Clements now sits in the chair once occupied by Tim Goldsworthy, opposite last man standing James Lavelle. And then, too, the music itself is no longer trapped inside the trip-hop genre that they once helped define.

"This record, if you put it against 'War Stories,' is a totally different album,' Clements admits to Spinner in the following video for UNKLE's upcoming new release, 'Where Did the Night Fall.' Founding producer Lavelle takes it a step further by saying that, for him, it feels like UNKLE is really "just beginning."

In truth, it's a new beginning that, for the rest of us, hasn't even actually begun yet -- 'Where Did the Night Fall' doesn't drop until May 10. But before then, fans can get a glimpse of the future by watching the first of three exclusive, introductory videos the band made for the occasion. Unlike that bully from grade school, we don't even need to twist your arm to get you to say "UNKLE." All you gotta do this time is press play on the clip below.

I wonder who made this mini-doc. If it was the same people behind "The Man From UNKLE"? Is so, I am stocked and hoping that it gets a release soon.
