  • Ah, remember when they used to let us flood the field in celebration?

  • @LoveStallion Me too. Everything today is too regulated and antiseptic. Raising a society of sissies and robots.

  • a very heartbreaking loss vs Red Sox thankful they lost to the Mets later in the Fall Classic

  • @Angelslover9 Yes they did. Thanks bill buckner!

  • Short or tall, large or small, Welcome anytime !

Cheer ! Cheer ! Cheer ! Let them know we're here.

  • @perpetual61 Thanks for refreshing my memory. Seems like yesterday.

  • If everyone ran on the field like they used to when their team clinched at home no way would the security be able to get everyone.Let's go! After we go to see our team's, and these player's make million's, let the fan's have their time in the sun!

  • I will forever hate the Red Sox for 1986!

  • Sophomores in HS, my best bud and I were there!! Go HALOS!!

  • @Edd1e8 At the Coliseum the people were just glad to see their new team, having never seen Major League games in LA before. Plus, they won the World Series the year they played in the Coliseum. The Angels were nothing new at the time and the Dodgers had hogged their fanbase. I'm a Giants guy so I would rather root for the Angels instead of the Dodgers.

  • I don't think I ever remember a packed house at the "Big A" when I was a kid. Even the footage here in a big home game has empty seats in the outfield.

Was the capacity just too much for baseball? Its hard to imagine how it was at the LA Coluseium!

  • @blockvalve Agreed. This goes for all of MLB, but I find the experience at Angels Stadium to be even more saccharine and controlled than most stadiums. I love my Angels a ton, but the vestiges of the Disney ownership are ever-apparent.

  • a very heartbreaking loss vs Red Sox
