He keeps them clumped together so he dos'nt have to switch the exit point falcon turrets as much, saving money.

You can't change the speed of the game. I used Windows Media Encoder to record this, and there's a setting before you start recording to adjust the speed.

the problem with the beginning of this attempt is that he is concentrating the waves of both entrances so that the monsters cover each other in a clump instead of making them file as thinly as possible through the guns.
isn't red plasma much more effective than DCA?

One shot from a plasma turret does deal more damage to one enemy than one shot from a SAM turret, but because the SAM turret damages all enemies in a certain radius of the hit, one shot can deal more total damage than a number of plasma turret shots if enough enemies are within that radius. (Yeah, some people have calculated all this.)
I have tried your way a lot - focusing on plasma turrets. It's easier to manage and more fun, but I usually get a little farther using SAM turrets.

thank god for summer break i used most of the time i had beating this game I'd post how i did it if i knew how to =( and plus (not kidding) i had over 30 dcas fully upgraded and good thing my maze was a good uh the thing where you have 2 openings that thingy and my maze was made out of 30 dcas, like 4 or 5 plasma turrets, and like 1 or 2 sonic and freeze turrets...

I downloaded the Windows Media Encoder. It takes a little time to figure out how to use it, but it's free, and that's how I recorded these. I would put a link in here, but YouTube won't let me. Just search for it in Google.
