Audi TT no muffer. This is to give TT'ers an idea of what you'll get out of removing the stock muffler, and changing nothing else. Its got a little rumble at idle/low revs, is almost as quiet as stock cruising, and has a good tone at high revs, and you can really hear the flow. Turbo spools much faster as well.

jump to around 3:45 for some regular street acceleration, jump to 7:40 for some near-redline pulls thru the gears.

  • man fuck i wish i could afford a TT

  • they're fairly cheap now (as far as sport/luxury cars go). Probably pick one up for $12,000

  • yeah, left as much pipe as i could. Basically cut it 1" before the muffler. You could also cut your stock tip(s) off the muffler, and have a shop add pipe to make it look like you were still stock. (if you wanted). At this point, I just have a single pipe running to the back of the car rather than weld 2 tips back on. Looks a little weird, but I'll probably just shave the rear valance to clean it up.

  • Did this. However just cut it off to test drive how it would sound. It was without any tips exiting the rear just cut of before the muffler. Was not real loud. My old Mustang GT with Dynomax Turbos and No cats was much louder. The TT did seem to drone badly at around 70. However I think if you did use 2 Resinated Stanless tips and had a muff shop weld it up with it exiting the rear it would not do this. I have this type of tip and really smooths out the raspy crap.

  • @20PsiNow calm down it was a joke... the video is almost pitch black

  • @droppinsumfudge the vents, gauge cluster, and the big one would be the silver radio cover that has TT in big letters...

  • how do we know this is a TT??

  • if i'm getting one, im getting it new, i know that i can't get a fresh one for 12K lol, plus i'm only 6 months into my current cars pay off, lol got a LONG way to go

  • ok i like the sound but did you cut the muffler off right after the axle and put pipes on to the bummper? i have been thinking about doing this but really do not want to cut up my stock exhaust!
