  • LOL...really? Christian Martial arts? Jesus is a Warrior King but to be a Warrior of God you don't really even need to know martial arts :)

  • @TheEternalMercy true; but there's also nothing wrong or sinful if you know it.

  • אתה לא יכול לעשות את זה לשם ישוע. הנוצרים הם מניאקים...

leave the name of Yeshua alone

  • Shalom,

If you are in HIM, you can't do that. I think you should understand that.

    blessing & peace :)

  • Wow after 32 years of training still the same old crap Yeshua Do (Jesus way) please "thou shall not steal" come on man training and budo are one thing living a Christian life is another- What martial science did Jesus study or teach- what martial science did John the baptist study or teach- yeah maybe you are confusing the tenets of the crazy man with the torn in his flesh Paul to what being a Christian or follower of Christ is. Aikido wa budo de aru- /cut the crap be a Christian not a thief

  • You guys. Geez, I would not have thought these videos could stir up so much criticism. Just for the record, I'm one of the sensai's students in the Yukon, so is my son, and I don't have a religious bone in my body. Sensai is not preachy, but his spirituality is obviously important to him, and he's a fine man so whatever he's doing back off. I never comment on videos, period, but this just all seems ridiculous. I've heard him say the word god, maybe twice in the last year. It's good stuff.

  • @whitt088 For the same reason Sun Tzu stated in "The Art of War" that persons of conscience should consider the matter of martial strategy... so that they may be governed by some constraint of conscience and not base passions alone.

  • @TAKAHASHIGRAY I would love to hear all about your ancestor, and his faith, at your leisure.

  • @badhorsy2003 Well, as one of the descendants of those whom "died in order to obtain these techniques", and knowing also that they were also Japanese Christians, I find your comment utterly disrespectful. My relatives served as Samurai retainers under the Otomo Clan, one clan of many who were either Christian, or Christian supporters.

  • @Hobbes306 I always thought that the Bible was one continuous/progressive work? That would mean that the God of the Old Testament is the same as the God in the New?

  • Great video Sensei.

    Psalm 144:

    1Blessed be the LORD, my rock, who trains my hands for war, and my fingers for battle;

2he is my steadfast love and my fortress, my stronghold and my deliverer,

my shield and he in whom I take refuge, who subdues peoples[a] under me.

    ~Takahashi; Canadian Representative, Yeshua-Do International

  • @KnightlySirJames1 Yes, some were. My Mother's great Grandfather was one such as that, as am I. Thank you for that :)

    ~Takahashi

  • Very good stuff Sensei. OSSU

  • @talmidshelyeshua למה לא להגיד את זה פחדן אנגלית?

  • Hey my katas arent nearly as good as this but would love for some people to come and tell me how i can improve them :D

  • Wow. Many men died in order to obtain these techniques. To ascribe Christianity to their memory is so utterly disrespectful to them it makes me want to cry blood.
