Fix:

You must install the correct driver from the manufacturers website. If you install Win7/Vista, it will give you the generic display adapter (it will say in brackets (Microsoft...then some numbers). This driver is fine for everyday use but hopeless in Maya.

You will also find the selection marguee to be sluggish as well as the problems in this video. I have an ATI Radeon and after I got the proper driver from their site - ALL problems fixed.

Control Panel>Device Manager to identify.

hello....this problem is just graphic card some graphic cards dos not support full with maya if you wont run correctly u must change your graphic card to nvidia geforce or update your video card or download orignal vedio card in the internet

hey guys... I have same problem besides some menu disappear like camera in perspective menu and render settings all gone... pros told me to update my graphics card drive I did but issues still there... I think these issues in windows 7

Yes buddy, download and install windows 7 specific Graphics Driver for your machine...It worked for me...I just downloaded Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator Driver for 3 Series Chipset Based Intel Desktop Boards for my Intel DG31 PR model. As i updated the driver, my viewcube is wrking fine and manipulators also wrking normally in all views :)

oh when your tool disapears try "= and -" for some reason maya has a bug where it scales Up the manipulators and makes them seem "not there"

me too same issues... and maya also is "whiting out" inactive panes when i work in say.... the graph editor :(

Hey Dren, have you also noticed that the manipulator tools don't work well in the UV editor? Specifically, the scale tool? Let me know if you've found a solution to these problems...I'm having some of the same issues.

Hey!! buddy I am user!! I knew this problem this graphic card issue...

First make sure 16x PCI xpress Qudra graphic card do u have...

May be your graphic windows 7 not supported or not installed
