@Harriisoon reason it can tell his revs is because its wrapped to the ignition cable and thus feel how many times the sparkplug gets signal, same way it feels your hours
-
@YoshiMan246 a 4 stroke also gets wore down, piston needs replacement and so on, just not as often as a 2 stroker. also total engine life is nice to know and oil changes. You really dont have much clue without this :)

@Harriisoon mate just shave abit of insulation off of the spark plug lead and wrap it around it then wrap it up again... it just goes of electrical pulses. :)
-
@fragmasterkarl Yeah you showed where you put the wiring and how to stop the rpm's jumping about; not where it actually goes? As in how does it read rpm's? Through the electrical circuit or does it go into the head and senses how fast the piston is moving?

sounds pretty nice :-)
how much have u paid ???
btw: how fast is your drz running now ?!
thx
How does it actually tell your revs? Like where does it go? Into the thermostat hole or what?

Hey man me again, Curious why you wanted an hour meter on your bike, since it is a 4-stroke, - Don't hours only apply to 2 stroke pistons and what not?
