Chicago's official Christmas Tree was recently cut down and delivered to Daley Plaza where on Tuesday November 20th it will be lit up with 14,600 multi-colored lights during the 99th Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony.

The 64 foot Colorado Spruce was donated by the Theiszman family of Prospect Heights.

The 99th Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony is presented by the City of Chicago and UL. Admission is free. For more information please visit www.cityofchicago.org/DCASE or call (312) 744-3316.

    I never liked the trees they picked, because a majority look like ugly bedazzled pickles.
