NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams - Elliot

Here it is--the last NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams video. After this is no more. And it's a bit of a relief on my upload count.

This is a gameplay video of the secret character Elliot, who also happens to be the male playable character from the original NiGHTS into Dreams... on the Sega Saturn. Elliot is a teenage boy living in the town of Twin Seeds who wants to get better at basketball. He meets NiGHTS in his dreams, and they defeat Wizeman. Then...he gets better at basketball, I guess. Claris lives there too, and NiGHTS goes around two-timing with her to help her sing better.

In order to unlock the blue-haired Elliot for Will (and, simultaneously, the pink-haired teenage girl Claris for Helen), you must collect all 60 Dreamdrops in this game. Dreamdrops are tear-shaped sparkling jewels hidden in every mission of the game except boss battles. The fountain in the Dream Gate, the hub world, displays a counter. Once it reaches 60, the water will go from ordinary to overflowing with rainbows! If Will hops into it, he'll hop out as Elliot.

This is the Broadway Guide mission, of course. I chose this one because it's the only one of Will's missions where Helen tags along--though in this case, it's Claris who follows. It also gives some good views of what the character actully look like, as opposed to Bellbridge.

I wish they had kept the jump combo system...Those front flips would have helped out LOTS here...
