At almost 90 years old, Nelson Bud Talbott has seen a lot of changes to Ohios natural world. Hes seen the destruction and renewal of the states forestland, wetlands drained and mitigated, wildlife extirpated and reintroduced, and natural areas destroyed and protected. Yet for all the trials and tribulations in the natural world hes witnessed over the years, perhaps none has been more alarming, more all-encompassing, than climate change.
Talbott knows that if the Conservancy doesnt pay attention to climate change, the land protection work weve accomplished will be compromised This is a time of great challenge for us, Talbott says. We need to be involved if were going to save what we have.
Words of wisdom. Thank you for sharing this
