Yeah thats what things were looking like with the comic book thing. And as for the kid, that's exactly what I assumed, as I know there were lots of Oliver/Dinah fans who weren't happy with how things went in the finale for Oliver and Chloe.

I think the comic book reading was a nod to the first Superman movie when it begins with a prologue of the first issue of Action Comics. Sort of like a breaking the 4th wall thing.
Who the father of the kid is, was last as ambiguous so as to not piss off the hardcore comic fans.
