At COP16, the UN Climate Change Conference in Cancun, Mexico, CFACT interviewed the chair of the IPCC, Rajendra Pachauri.

When asked about the fact that there has been no statistically significant global warming for the past 15 years, Pachauri became evasive. Even Phil Jones, a climatologist at the University of East Anglia and a prominent global warming alarmist, admitted this fact in the wake of Climategate.

A year after Climategate, however, the IPCC's Pachauri still refuses to face reality and clings to the deeply flawed 4th Assessment Report.

Most tellingly, while Pachauri agreed that global carbon dioxide emissions have been increasing for the last 15 years, he had no idea how much global temperatures had increased during that same time. As the head of the UN IPCC, that seems like a pretty basic piece of information, but Pahauri exposed his ignorance once again.

This climate change hysteria should be equated with governmnet endorsement of religion, because that's what it is. Earth worshipping pagens

The U.N., Al Gore, Mr. Pachuri and many other Maurice Strong financed environmental people and groups have profited greatly by this global warming rhetoric! They will continue this scam for as long as they get funding. Cut off the funding and they will have to find another scam from which to profit.

Parchauri was here in Australia last month, and he admitted that there has been NO warming for the past 17 years.....

"scientific consensus" is thrown around a lot when it comes to man-made global warming theory. It's a huge abstraction and shows the ignorance of the people that use it.

Yet the warming period of the late 20th century was also around 15 years and all the alarmists cherish that as ultimate proof of their theory.

The people who made the climate models said that the models reject any period of no warming for 15 years or longer. Therefore by their own words, the theory is disproven.

In the 1970's the consensus was that we are going into an ice age. Although there was a guy who told Nixon that by the year 2000 we will see a 7 degree rise in temperatures.

There has been a scientific consensus of anthroprogenic global warming since the 1970's. It was predicted that by the year 2000 we would begin to see the effects. Now the changes can be measured and the public still don't know who to believe.

A few free market extremists and lobbyists for various industries have been way too succesfull in creating public doubt and discredit the scientific community.

    Get real people!

The interview was off base. He asked the guy a question in a field he doe snot understand, you know something about Tommy Train or Fabio's cover work.
