Sarajevo in Bosnia-Herzegovina has a troublesome history thanks to the 1990s civil war. We were curious and wanted to see what it's like, now the fighting is well and truly over. We were surprised in a good way! Check it out.

  • It was NOT a civil war. Serbia (Slobodan Milosevic , Arkan and other animals alike) attacked independent nation of Bosnia. End of story.

but peace is more than welcomed

  • serbs muslims croats lets all live in peace

  • This video doesn't do much justice to Sarajevo, I live here in Bosnia, and I don't like Muslims or Sarajevo to be honest, but I was there at numerous occasions, and the city looks much better than this. There's this Turkish part of the city, then the Austro-Hungarian part which is the city's core and a modern one with many modernly designed buildings with lots of glass used in their construction. Hell, I don't even know where are those small, ruined buildings located.

  • @ProdjeZivotKaoSan708 thanks, i also come from a country where muslims and chirstians hate each other just because of religion. This is why i left religion a long time ago, so i don't consider muslims as my "brothers" more than christians in my country, all are equal.

i also visited Croatia this summer, and while it is a beautiful tourist country with lovely coast, i can tell that they are really obsessed with their military and nationalism like Serbia is. That could be a bad thing too.

  • @leptismagna10 Salut a toi.

La cause des guerres au balkan c'est à cause des religions.Islam,Catholisme et la religion Orthodoxs.

Mais aussie c'est la mauvaise politique qui est la grand cause des guerres en ex-yougoslavie.

  • why do all the south slavs hate each other? i read about the balkan wars but i never understood the reasons why...is it religion? ethnicity? war like leaders?

    greetings from Egypt.

  • Omg,what a shithole.Wtf are you doing in the European continent. There must be a mistake, your place should be in Turkmenistan,A shame for that great continent.
