  • Scientists don't cut down the trees. They're learning how to turn plant cellulose (from lumber yards or inedible corn stalks, where wood is cut down already) into a biofuel.

  • what ppl dont realize is that we now have "tree farms" we have been planting trees faster than cutting them down for almost a decade. saplings produce more oxygen and remove more carbon dioxide than older trees

  • well.... not if they're consistent in planting those trees over and over again, then consuming trees wouldn't be a problem. Let's just hope they do farm trees.
