No, still have yet to get any rain gear. lol, I know once I buy it it will stop raining again and we'll have a year long dry spell like last year here in GA. And then the world will blame me, and I just don't want to go there lol.

Thanks!

Another great video GoochRA.

Yeah - the Dyna's are cool but SOOOOO expensive in the UK as new, but great for travelling some distance - which (I guess) is where the Sportster falls down.
Thanks again for the V-Log, did you sort out some wet weather gear? We know all about that here in the North of England!!! Goretex is the best stuff (but expensive) or you could get a throwover rain suit/jacket/ trousers/ fairly cheaply and they pack small too.

The way a real man does, with you ear and intuition, lol. Ya I thought about getting one, but once I upgrade my pipes I'll be fine. I did red line accidently this weekend riding behind my buddy who has rediculously loud pipes

Hey, can you tell me if this would be a good first bike? I rode dirt bikes when I was young and had an enduro for about a year, probably 10 years ago or so. I took MSF class a few weks ago as a refresher and went and got my license yesterday. I am going to ride one of those little 250 ninja's today and was planning on ridind an Iron in the next day or two. I am not an "experienced rider, but do know how to ride. Would this be a good starter bike?
Thanks

Ya I think it is good for you since you already know how to ride. The 883 is not a big engine (compared anyway) but it will still move. I guess if your into speed ans quick acceleration u may want to look into a 1200 sporty or vrod. But I just like to ride lol, so i won't say it's plenty of power, it's just the right amount. Now I've hit over 100mph on it on the intersate and it doesn't shake at all. It's a great bike. I test rode 2 dynas last week and I may not trade up, if that helps!
