The difference is that the storys of today are plot driven. Back then, it was character driven. We got to know the characters...what made them love, what made them tick. Now, it's who's blowing up whos car, whos sleeping with who, whos babydaddy is sleeping with whos babysmom. LOL ijs...dont get me wrong it was like this back in the day, but the plots were well developed.

classic episodes... i wish soaps still had this style of storylines. I loved C&S love story..they went from hate, to slowly falling inlove yet not wanting to admit it.. and when they do it was awesome.
great stuff - writers today should check out youtube sometime :P

Awe. I think Sonny hearing Carly talk about her love and devotion for Jason made him wish he had that. He looked so dejected and hurt at the end. Even if he doesn't realize he loves her yet, he definitely wished she loved him by the end of this scene.

I agree! With Sarah coming back as a new character, I HAVE to see her and MB in a scene together at least once. I hope she has scenes with Sonny & Jase. Just to see if the chemistry is still there. But she IS Carly. LW is good, but she's no SB!
