1" Sedu Revolution Tourmaline Ionic Styling Iron ($159.99)
Get it here: http://www.folica.com/tools/flat-irons/sedu-revolution-tourmaline-ionic-styli...

Pros:
// Tourmaline technology for smooth, sleek hair
// Anti-slip design for easy styling
// 9" swivel cord
// Quick to heat up
// Indicator light for heating, hot, cooling down
// On/Off switch
// Temperature control dial for 170-450 degrees
// Good compact size (compared to most flat irons...but not all. See below for more info.)
// 2 year warranty

Cons:
// On the expensive side ($159.99)
(I personally purchase from Folica and subscribe to their newsletter. They frequently send out promotions and coupon codes that help with the price of these styling tools.)
// Experienced some minor pinching / "catching" of hair
// Slightly larger/bulkier than g.h.d. flat iron
// Thicker iron body can make it a bit harder to style short hair (e.g. bangs)
// Not as easy to curl with as some other irons I've tried (but still doable. Needs practice!)

Compared to the Solia:
+ More compact
+ Higher performance
+ Less pinching on hair
- More expensive

Compared to the g.h.d.:
= Comparable performance
- Bulkier in size
- More pinching on hair (but very minor)
+ Lower in price -- Definitely recommend Sedu over g.h.d. only because of the cost savings, since the g.h.d. doesn't offer anything significantly better than the Sedu.

Would I recommend?
Overall, I think this is an excellent styling iron. Although it is a bit pricey, it's great value for your investment, considering the quality and performance of this tool. I would highly recommend this product for anyone who wants to invest in a good quality flat iron (whether you're upgrading from another iron, or buying a flat iron for the first time).
