YES it works!!!
Every single thing in our body responds strengthening after the stress.
There have even been some whove managed to lower their voice
by an entire octave. Now dont laugh at the exercise and dont more...
overdo it.....
Please don't ask me how many times you should repeat it or other technical questions I just found this video on the net..
Anyway my guess is you shouldn't overdo it. Pause it when you vocal chords begin to get soared.

Attracting ladies has nothing to do with how deep your voice is. It's about confidence and interest in them. I know guys who have the most girly of voices but still get girls.
Look at Justin Bieber for christ sake. Even grown women like him which I find very odd.
