Here is my first match back in competition since my knee surgery. It was at the Grapplers X tournament in Long Beach on Feb 14, 2010. I set up my takedowns off of the Russian 2-on-1 or the baseball grip 2-on-1. The first take down is a Japanese Double when he stands up too straight, anticipating the tie up. The second is a submarine throw of of the Russian with the "Hurricane Grip". If you are interested in learning these techniques I am available for Private Lessons. Please e-mail me or comment for info.

I am one of Connor Huen's students, Isaiah Grant, at the Legend's gym @ BeSpun, and Conor Huen has to be one of the best wrestlers out there, bar none. Anyone in the LA area reading this post, or seeing this video needs to enroll in his class. Conor Huen isn't stingy with the secrets of his profession, and thanks to him, I am getting better on a daily basis with my floor skills, which are minimal but growing rapidly thanks to Conor Huen @ Legends MMA.

Holy mother of God that second takedown was slick. I have to say, Conor... what makes you a true fighter (among other things) is that most grapplers would get up on points and then ride out the win. You never stopped attacking, even if it meant leaving positions behind. That right there is what it's all about.
