    Actually no. After re-measuring the speed of the neutrinos in a different experiment called ICARUS, CERN on announced that the neutrinos were actually moving equal to the speed of light and the original paradigm-shattering results were most likely due to a measuring error. Good try though. Go ahead and down vote my comment again.

    Just think about a Silver Age Superman that loses his shit and goes on a rampage. People think Superman is a pussy, an angry Superman - Prime, Superman Prime, Ultraman ...that is a force of the Universe to be reckoned with. And yes, in the Comics originally Superman could travel faster then light like the flash and Time Travel under his own power.

    he is moving around the earth more then once a second, and since a beam of light can travel around earth 5 times in a second - he is traveling well beyond the speed of light.

    It's called schadenfreude, it's the enjoyment or amusement in response to something that is normally perceived as serious or painful to another person, especially suffering. It's an unfortunate but common thing. People look at the fantasy side of the movie and fail to see the human side. Loss is difficult.
